Terms of Use
Effective June 24, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DarkCell, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use DarkCell. These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of DarkCell means you accept the updated terms.
Description of Service
DarkCell provides a severe weather dashboard with radar, alerts, outlooks, observations, reports, storm tracks, and related weather information. DarkCell is an independent tool and is not operated by the National Weather Service, NOAA, or any government agency.
Weather Safety
DarkCell is provided for situational awareness only. Weather data can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. During hazardous or life-threatening weather, always follow official National Weather Service guidance, local emergency management instructions, and other official sources.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse DarkCell. This includes attempting to overload, scrape aggressively, reverse engineer, bypass rate limits, interfere with security controls, access non-public systems, disrupt other users, or use the platform for unlawful activity.
Availability
DarkCell is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete data coverage, or error-free operation - though we do our best to ensure the service is available 24/7, 365. DarkCell is hosted on redundant, highly available infastructure spread across multiple locations and providers to have the best chance of surviving any upstream outage.
Third-Party Data and Services
DarkCell uses data and services from third parties. Those providers may change, delay, restrict, or discontinue their services independently of DarkCell. DarkCell is not responsible for third-party data, outages, terms, or policies.
Suspension and Blocking
We may block, rate-limit, or restrict access from users, networks, or clients that abuse the platform, threaten service stability, violate these terms, or create security risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DarkCell and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including service interruptions, inaccurate weather data, missed alerts, property damage, personal injury, loss of data, or loss of revenue arising from your use of or inability to use DarkCell.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
